 | Bootable Medium Creation Once you have downloaded the Chakra image, you can create different bootable medium in order to boot into Chakra Live System and install Chakra Linux in your hard disk. You need a CD, a DVD, or an USB flash drive, depending on the size of the image you downloaded and on the hardware where you will perform the installation. |
Mediums
 | CD or DVD Bootable CD or DVD is probably the best option for people with old computers, since its BIOS might not support boot from USB devices. |
 | USB Flash Drive For netbooks it will probably be necessary to have an USB flash drive as bootable medium (because of the lack of a CD/DVD device). |
